Website

Malvirà is a family-run winery located in Canale, in the heart of the Roero region of Piedmont, Italy. For three generations, the Damonte family has dedicated themselves to crafting wines that express the unique terroir of Roero. With 43 hectares of vineyards, brothers Massimo and Roberto Damonte lead the estate with a shared passion for producing elegant and authentic wines.

Malvirà's winemaking philosophy is centered on respecting the land and its traditions. They are committed to sustainable farming practices and minimal intervention in the cellar, allowing the characteristics of the Roero to shine through in their wines. From their Roero Arneis to their Nebbiolo-based wines, each bottle reflects the family's dedication to quality and their deep connection to the region.

Beyond their Roero offerings, since 2007 Malvirà has also produced Barolo, expanding their portfolio to include another of Piedmont's iconic wines. The Damonte family, including Giacomo, Francesco, Patrizia, Lucia and Pietro, welcomes visitors to their historic cellar for tours and tastings, offering a glimpse into the passion and heritage behind Malvirà's exceptional wines. They also offer accomodations at Villa Tiboldi: Roero Wine Resort.
