Calafè is a family-owned winery nestled in the heart of Irpinia, Italy. Founded by Benito Petrillo as an act of love, the winery is named after his three granddaughters: Camilla, Laura, and Federica. Calafè is committed to producing exceptional wines that express the unique terroir of the region, focusing on both traditional and innovative winemaking techniques to craft wines of unparalleled quality.

With a focus on small-scale production, Calafè maintains meticulous control over every aspect of the winemaking process, from vineyard management to vinification. The vineyards are located in prime sites within Irpinia, allowing them to cultivate indigenous grape varieties such as Greco di Tufo, Fiano di Avellino, and Aglianico. This dedication to quality and precision ensures that each bottle of Calafè wine is a true reflection of the land and the passion of its creators.

Calafè produces a range of distinctive wines, including the elegant Greco di Tufo DOCG, the rich Fiano di Avellino DOCG, and the robust Taurasi DOCG. In addition to these still wines, they also craft a classic method sparkling wine from Greco di Tufo grapes. These wines are a testament to the Petrillo family's commitment to excellence and their deep connection to the Irpinian winemaking tradition.
